Notes from nephew Kevin Robinson Masini:
He custom made orthopedic shoes.  His basement was filled with molds for various foot deformities and custom molds made for clients.  He made plaster of paris molds for people and then made special order shoes just for their feet.  He did his work from home in his basement.  He was quite successful.

Joe MANTI

Notes from nephew Kevin Robinson Masini:
He was an independent traveling blacksmith.  He had his own anvils and forges and traveled almost a regular circuit taking care of horse shoeing.  He made custom horse shoes for many clients with horses that had a split hoof or some other irregularity of the hoof.  He was very successful in his business.  Mar 2003

Elia MASINI

There is no Elia listed on the ship passenger list for the Imperator, on which the rest of Elia's family immigrated.  Her great-nephew, Kevin Robsinon Masini, thinks she was about 3 years younger then her brother Charles, making her born circa 1920.  So, it is believed she was born somewhere in the US.

Info from grandson Kevin Robinson Masini - she may have been married a third time.  Her mother was called Grandma Skully.  The name may be spelled Scully, Skulley, Sculley??  He only knows how it is pronounced.  Mar 2003

Minnie Haha FISHER

The following notes are from Claudia Tillman:

According to Fred Fisher (son of Sheldon), Minnie married and had children Arthur and Lois.  The date shown for her marriage to Mr. Sullen is only a guess.  The will of her Grandfather, Anthony, listed her as Minnie Sullens, living in Indison, AR in 1904.  Minnie also  married a Mr. Edleson (first name unknown).

There seems to be no 1900 Census listing for Minnie and Earl Sullens, at least he is not listed in the 1900 Soundex in Arkansas.

The 1910 Arkansas Census shows the John E. Dodd family living in White Co., in the Red River Twp., ED 170, house #92.  John E.W. was 27, born AR with father born IL and mother born IA.  He was working on a Steamboat.  Minnie H, 29, born MO, with both parents born MO, she had 3 pregnancies with 3 living children.  John and Minnie had been married for 6 years.  Children were Virgil, 7, born AR (since from the dates given on the Census, Virgil, was born before John and Minnie were married, he MAY be the son of Sullen?).  Arthur was 5, born AR, and Liddie was 10/12 born AR (Census was taken 30 April 1910).

Kathy Fisher found John E. Dodd and wife Minnie listed in the 1920 Census for Arkansas  in White Co., Gray Twp., ED 167, page 1B.  John E. was age 38, born AR.  Minnie was 38, born MO. Children listed were Virgil, 16, born MO; Arthur, 14, born AR; Effie, 10, born AR; and daughter S.E., age 6, born AR.  John was employed as an engineer for Searcy Cotton Oil (or so it appears).   The Family was living on Judsonia Road in White County. This Census data conflicts with the family information given by Fred Fisher (children listed as Arthur and Lois, and Lois is NOT shown on Census records, so she is not listed here).

Emma STEWARD

She married a Mr. Easterling (see deed of inheritance in notes for her brother Francis Marion Steward, Jr).  Family lore says she killed her husband - haven't found proof of that.

Dr. BUTLER

The only thing I know about Dr. Butler is his picture is found in his sister-in-laws (Sarah Jane Travis McDearman) family bible.  I have searched forever to find more about this man.  Sarah was born in Tennessee and married in Tennessee, so it is possible that he resided in Tennessee.

"Pet" TRAVIS

A picture of her is in the family bible of her sister Sarah Jane Travis.  Her name is written "Pet" Butler, so I assume this is a nickname.  Written under it is "sister of Sarah".  There is also a picture of Dr. Butler, assumed to be the husband of Pet Butler.  These people have been a roadblock for years.  Sarah was born and raised in Tennessee and married there, so Pet and Dr. Butler may have married in Tennesse and resided there.  Sarah married in Paris, Henry County, Tennessee.

J. J. RAY

He is referred to as J. J. Ray in court documents his wife Margaret filed against her grandmother and her grandfather's estate.

Margaret GARRETT

Found on the 1900 census with grandfather Pryor Garrett and mother Sarah Garrett.  Her birthdate listed as July 1893 and her age as 6.
